Dr. Ranjini Pillai

Ranjini Pillai, DDS, MPH, FAGD, is an experienced general dentist at Aesthetic Family Dentistry in Cary, North Carolina. She uses her decades of experience with families to build relationships and understand each patient’s needs and goals in order to recommend treatments that fit into their lifestyle.
After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1997, Dr. Pillai earned a position at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York for her dental residency. Dedicated to continuing education, Dr. Pillai has expanded her expertise to include orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign®, and she has achieved the honor of being named a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Pillai is dedicated to providing families with a foundation for a lifetime of optimal oral health. With an extensive knowledge of and experience with a variety of tools to make appointments more comfortable and treatments more predictable, Dr. Pillai takes advantage of lower-radiation digital technology, convenient time-saving same-day crowns, CT scanning for dental implants, and comfortable handheld intraoral cameras, so patients can see the process of their treatment.
As a busy wife and mother, Dr. Pillai understands the importance of finding a dental team you can trust with your family’s care. She is known for being really great with people and children, and patients commend her good bedside manner.
Dr. Pillai and her husband, Raj, have two grown children. When not at the practice, she enjoys cooking, painting, gardening, and walking in the beautiful community.
